I am a teacher. And teachers share ideas…for free. I am all about not reinventing the wheel. In all of my searches for specific items for teaching, I have come across some of, what I think, THE best websites for FREE teaching materials. Posters of Jan Brett’s Phonograms: Absolutely wonderful!!

Early Learning Printables at Home School Creations: I used quite a few of her lapbook activities and printable packs. She has LOTS of them!!

3 Dinosaurs: has preschool printables and printables for kindergarten and first grade objectives

Literature:

Classics Illustrated Comic Books THIS is why I need a kindle!!

Curriculum:

Hubbards Cupboard has been my go-to site for Preschool Curriculum!!

Home School Creations has some wonderful Pre-K printables, such as folder games, consumables, etc.

Home School Share has lapbooks, unit studies, and book lists based on FIAR.

Science:

Crawford the Cat is THE place to go for the cutest short videos that teach hygiene. My kids LOVE Crawford and would watch it over and over if I let them.

Simply Science is a great blog! She lists many science topics and then shows the books to find at the library. She even includes lessons!

How the Body Works has great movies and articles about body systems.

Early Elementary Science Unit on the Human Body

Bible:

Totally Tots has some wonderful Bible memory posters that I have printed out and used. I have them up all over the house!

Art:

Mrs. Brown’s Art Class has fantastic ideas for teaching art objectives.

Deep Space Sparkle is an amazingly comprehensive site for art lessons.

History:

Dynamic 2 Moms has a FANTASTIC site on Ancient Civilizations!

Ancient Mesopotamia for kids

Ancient History printables and crafts from the Crafty Classroom

Ancient History complete scope and sequence with many books listed to find at your local library from Guest Hollow

All kinds of history projects and lapbooks that go with The Story of the World found at The Chronicle of the Earth.

Fun Listening:

Kiddie Records Weekly has many of the “old” records from the 40s and 50s digitized and downloadable for FREE!

General:

Donna Young has just about anything organizational that you might need…and then some!

Home School Freebie of the Day is great! Sign up with them!!

Copy Work Generator This site amazes me! I can type in anything and it makes copy work! Wow!!

Freely Educate finds all kinds of free stuff!
