It has been two weeks since I have updated you on weight loss, so the fact that I can tell you I have maintained is exciting. BUT! Even more exciting is the fact that I…are you ready????……….I WALKED FIVE TIMES this last week!! Woohoo!!! STOP! 2 POUNDS! –> -8.8 + (1 + 2.8) = -5

It wasn’t a great week, but then it wasn’t a total failure either. I found myself doing some good behaviors…like planning what I eat because I knew this weekend was going to be hard. My niece got married, so we had rehearsal dinner food Friday night, wedding food on Saturday, and then on Sunday my church had a picnic with yummy food. This is probably why I gained weight. HOWEVER! My WW Leader would then ask this question of me, “Did you enjoy yourself?” I would have to answer back…”Yes!” I had a good weekend with family and friends. “Then a little bit of weight is ok.” I really did have a better week eating and I did move more. And I must say I feel like I look a little bit skinny in the photo booth shoots with my sweet girl. :) Continue reading

I’m not going to lie to you, Readers. I did not want to write this post today. I kept trying to think of a way out of it. “Maybe they’ll forget it’s Monday!” or “I can disappear!” Um, yeah right. No, for those of you who actually do take the time out of your busy schedule to check up on me, I can’t let my accountability partners down. So I’ve been whining and complaining to myself all the excuses I have for why I gained weight this week. I know it’s only one pound, and I’m quite surprised by that because I know myself and what I’ve done, or not done, this week. Continue reading

STOP! 2 POUNDS! –> Maintained

Whew. What a yucky week I had. I advise against the stomach virus that is going around. It flattened me for 3 days and messed me up for 5. I actually lost 4 pounds in 3 days, but it was all water weight. As soon as I started drinking my water, it came back rather quickly. Also, because of that “yucky” feeling, I had to eat certain things (like bread) just to get food into my system. So all special eating was put aside until today. Everyone should be back to normal. I am ready for a “normal” schedule again!

YEA!!! I was wondering how I’d do after a week of Vacation Bible School and not cooking dinner all week. After gaining a little last week, I am excited to lose a few pounds. It’s nice to think that I only have 11 pounds left until I reach my goal weight!
