If you are a person who loves free speech, then you need to go eat food at Chick-fil-a on Wednesday.

I’m not talking politics. I’m speaking about pure constitutional rights.
Do I agree with the homosexual agenda? No.
Does their message infuriate me at times? Yes.
But they are entitled to speak their opinions. That’s what makes our country so awesome.
There are plenty of companies which I do not do business with because I don’t agree with their policies. That is my choice. And actually, this whole fiasco has shown me that maybe I need to dig a little deeper into the motives of companies instead of blindly giving my money away.
If people don’t want to eat Chick-fil-a chicken, that’s fine. But don’t slander someone’s name and reputation because they choose to believe something different. That’s not “tolerance.”
Christians have been leading boycotts for years. And it’s really interesting to see some of the results. There was a bookstore in the town I grew up in that was put out of business for selling pornography. K-Mart is another one that comes to mind, and more recently, JC Penny for an ad which showed two “fathers.” Supposedly the men’s line has lost 70% in sales because of that ad. Now, through the Huffington Post article attached below, I’ve learned that the Jim Henson, Co. has pulled the toy line they were going to do with CFA because they have “celebrated and embraced diversity for over 50 years.” I’m thinking I need to not buy or watch anything from that company any more.
I have a feeling, come Wednesday, Chick-fil-a is going to have more business than they know what to do with.
We serve a good God who rewards those who are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

Lines around the corner, three tries to get thru a green light in the vicinity of CFA. And yet, the huge lines and long wait are not deterring people from supporting what they stand for. Hooray!
I started tearing up at one point when about 15 people walked from all directions while I was sitting in the drive thru. The place was packed!! And it was constant. We shall see what Friday has in store….
